What is Dauntless? Dauntless is an action RPG in the style of Monster Hunter World. It has been fully released as a free-to-play game for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 since May 24, 2019, and has been enjoyed by fans.
Like in Monster Hunter World, you fight massive beasts here that can only be taken down with a lot of skill or good teamwork and a well-thought-out strategy.
From the remains of the creatures, you craft new equipment and progress. Gradually, you take down increasingly dangerous beasts.

Unlike Monster Hunter, Dauntless features a darker, more European-influenced comic style. The story is also darker. You don’t just hunt monsters for the sake of it; the creatures threaten your home by eating the magic that keeps the many islands of the world afloat.
Moreover, Dauntless is not primarily designed for consoles but supports true crossplay across all platforms.
