What is Destiny 2 Shadowkeep? Shadowkeep is the new expansion for the loot shooter Destiny 2. Here you encounter Eris Morn, an NPC from Destiny 1, who has unleashed a power that he cannot control.
The Guardians rush to help and fight their worst nightmares on the Moon, including the forms of ancient enemies.
These are the highlights of Shadowkeep
The big innovation in Shadowkeep is the Moon zone, which has been redesigned but should also have recognition value for Destiny 1 players.
But there are also innovations aside from the Moon:
- The endgame activity Nightmare Hunt.
- The new system Armor 2.0.
- A mini-raid.
- A revision of the Power Level, which should now be unlimited.
- Innovations in the Crucible.
Why should you play Shadowkeep?
The announced innovations sound exciting and diverse. Additionally, a storyline from Destiny 1 will be concluded. Fans of the series can look forward to this.
It is also worth noting that the story will continue in four more seasons. So, new content is guaranteed.
What is special in October? The new expansion was released on October 1, 2019. Accordingly, the game world is still fresh, and you can embark on exploration yourself.
Additionally, more updates for the game are already planned:
- On October 5, the Vex Offensive begins
- On October 22, the exotic quest for “Leviathan’s Breath” will be introduced
- On October 29, the Festival of the Lost starts
Another cool feature is that the base game of Destiny 2 has now become Free2Play. It’s a perfect moment to convince your friends about the loot shooter.
