Anthem – Bioware’s new hit?
What is Anthem? Anthem is a loot shooter like Destiny or Warframe, but also has clear RPG elements. As a “Freelancer”, you control Javelin exosuits, flying with up to three other players through a world full of dangers while battling enemy factions and monsters.
Anthem is set to be released on February 22, 2019, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
What’s in Anthem?
Anthem offers a pure PvE experience and initially does not allow you to confront other players. Thus, you can fully focus on battling the PvE foes and take on the role of superhero with your super exosuits.
The core of the game is the clever use of skills during epic boss battles. From them, you collect useful loot and continuously improve.
There are four different classes of Javelins, each with its own advantages and disadvantages, as well as unique skills. When playing as a team, you can leverage your strengths and negate your weaknesses through teamwork. This is especially necessary in battles against formidable bosses.
Good reasons to play Anthem
That’s why you should play Anthem: The developers want you to feel like overwhelming superheroes. Your Freelancers are not just any mercenaries; you are highly equipped high-tech warriors who spectacularly wipe the floor with your enemies.
Additionally, Anthem is gorgeous and allows you to explore a colorful, lively, and mysterious world while flying. Flying is one of the major distinctive features of the game.
Furthermore, the game is made by Bioware and promises a vibrant world alongside a campaign and story. The developers also plan to continuously provide plenty of content and keep the game updated after release.
