Warframe – Free2Play Alternative to Anthem
Here’s what’s in Warframe and Fortuna: Warframe has had the big open-world update Fortuna for some time now. This was recently enhanced with the Profit Taker update. At the end of January, the new content also came to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game.
What’s new in Warframe?
Here are the new bosses: The namesake Profit Taker is a gigantic robotic spider that you must fight as a world boss. If you loved the battles against the towering Eidolons, you’ll enjoy this as well.
This is what the new weapons look like: If you liked zooming around with the jetpack Archwing, you’ll appreciate the heavy artillery. These “Arch-Guns” are now available for your regular Warframes when you’re on foot. Additionally, these heavy weapons are optimal against the Profit Taker.
This is the new Warframe: A new Warframe enters the game. Baruuk is a kind of pacifist monk who negates and redirects damage. However, if he has to withstand too much for too long, raw violence eventually breaks out from him, turning him into a tornado of destruction.
Why should you play Warframe?
Here are some good reasons to play Warframe: Warframe has a certain barrier to entry, but once you get the hang of it and overcome the hurdle, you will experience many hours of exciting battles and a plethora of content.
Moreover, Warframe with its absurd story and unique sci-fi ninja world provides an interesting alternative to Bioware’s new hit Anthem, which is supposed to offer similar gameplay. Warframe is also free to play and features one of the fairest free-to-play systems in the industry.
On the next page, there’s a new game that many hopes rest upon.
