What is WoW Classic? World of Warcraft (WoW) is a classic MMORPG, but the classic version is essentially the original WoW that you could play back at release. This means that many things you know in WoW today do not exist, and you play again as it was back in 2004, when Blizzard’s successful MMO was released. WoW Classic will be released on August 27, 2019.
What are the highlights?
The highlights of WoW Classic are nostalgia and old-school feelings. Blizzard is bringing back vanilla WoW with the classic version, including all difficulties, mechanics, and the old raids like Molten Core, Onyxia, Ahn’Qiraj, and Naxxramas.
So if you miss the good old WoW, you’ll get a full dose of nostalgia here, along with cumbersome and complex gameplay mechanics.

The target audience for WoW Classic is clearly all WoW fans who are fed up with modern WoW. So, if you dislike pandas, find the world of Draenor foolish, and think the old, complex mechanics were much better, you’ll be happy with WoW Classic.
If you don’t mind that things that are now considered bugs are still features here, then WoW Classic is your game!
