The addition “merchant meets the wise wolf” already suggests that this is not a new season, but a reboot of the anime. This time, the anime is being produced under the direction of Hijiri Sanpei at Passione and retells the story of the original anime.
The original anime Spice and Wolf was well-received by fans. On IMDb, it is rated 7.8/10 by the anime community. The first trailers have already shown what beautiful visuals the series will have. We are optimistic that the anime will be a great remake.
What is Spice and Wolf about? We follow the merchant Kraft Lawrence on his trading routes. To sell his goods, he travels from village to village. One day while staying in the village of Pasloe, he meets the wolf goddess Holo.
She is the goddess of harvest and has blessed the village with rich harvests, which is why the people are slowly forgetting her presence. Holo wants to travel to her homeland in the north, where she is accompanied by Lawrence on an adventurous journey.
Baki Hanma VS Kengan Ashura

Both Baki and Kengan Ashura are individual manga series that are extremely popular among martial arts fans. For many years, the question of which manga is actually better has been raised. Now the martial arts giants meet each other in their own anime.
In the crossover, the punches will presumably be flying left and right. Fans of the genre and the two original works should not miss the anime, especially because the original voice actors of Baki Hanma and Tokita “Ashura” Ohma are participating.
What is Baki Hanma VS Kengan Ashura about? Not much is known about the anime yet, except that the protagonists from Baki and Kengan Ashura will face each other. Baki Hanma wants to become the strongest fighter in the world. But to do so, he must defeat the reigning champion, his father.
Kengan Ashura, on the other hand, revolves around Tokita Ohma, who is discovered as a talent in a street fight by his manager Yamashita Kazuo. He participates in a major tournament where the winner receives the seat of the chairman of the Kengan Association.
Wind Breaker

Wind Breaker is a relatively new manga that has only been around since 2021. Within 15 months, the manga volumes have sold a total of 1.2 million copies (via oricon.co.jp). Many well-known names have been recruited for the anime, whom we know from other series like Jujutsu Kaisen, Classroom of the Elite, or SpyxFamily.
An appropriate trailer already shows the high quality we can expect from the anime. We can only hope that an exciting story develops from the premise.
What is Wind Breaker about? Haruka Sakura loves to fight. Since Furin High School is known for brawling among the students, he enrolls there. He wants to fight his way to the top of the strongest.
But he soon realizes that the student gang in his neighborhood is far from being about fighting. The “Wind Breakers” have dedicated themselves to protecting the neighborhood and prefer to beat up thugs rather than other students. Therefore, there’s no one left for Haruka to fight.
