In March, two new games offering an online multiplayer experience are launching. We don’t want to withhold these from you.
Outriders – The Demo is Live
What kind of game is this? Outriders is a third-person loot shooter that mixes different play styles. The developers themselves compare it most closely to Diablo and its RPG factor, visually it resembles a mix of sci-fi and fantasy.
Outriders offers you a story that you can follow. In the endgame, the shooter offers repeatable missions, higher difficulty levels, and crafting.
Why do we recommend this now? At the end of February, Outriders launched the demo. In it, you can try out the 4 classes and take your first steps into the world of the shooter.
Many of our readers here on MeinMMO find the demo good so far. You can play it as long as you want. The release of the shooter is planned for April 1. If you play in the demo now, you can carry your progress into the finished game.
Stronghold Warlords – Release
What kind of game is this? Stronghold Warlords is a new title in the strategy series. One of its features is that you are no longer traveling in Europe or during the Crusades, but in medieval Asia.
Nonetheless, the game remains a classic Stronghold, where you build castles, defend them, and destroy enemy positions. Warlords is said to place a greater focus on the economy and introduce new production chains.
For multiplayer fans, there is another interesting new feature. You can work together with a friend to build the same fortress. One can take care of the construction while the other starts with the first battles.
What is happening in March? On March 9, the strategy game is finally set to release after several delays.
Monster Hunter Rise – Release for the Switch
What kind of game is this? In Monster Hunter Rise, you will, as usual, hunt monsters, craft armor and weapons, and hunt even larger monsters. This path takes you through large, rather linear areas where you find resources such as plants or bugs alongside the monsters.
Rise resembles Monster Hunter World in several ways, but there will also be differences. One special feature will be riding on monsters.
What is happening in March? On March 26, Monster Hunter Rise will be released, but only for the Nintendo Switch. PC gamers can rejoice, a release of the game has been announced. However, that is expected to be delayed until spring 2022.
Anyone who wants to dive into the new Monster Hunter beforehand will need a Switch.
