What kind of game is this? Back 4 Blood is a new shooter from the creators of Left 4 Dead and Evolve. In this game, you face a zombie threat.
You can do this with up to 3 additional players or AI helpers in a co-op campaign. There are 8 different characters available to you, with whom you can slice through hordes of enemies. In the process, you collect new ammunition, equipment, and complete mission objectives.
But be careful, as with friendly fire, you can accidentally kill your friends!
In addition to co-op, there is also a PvP mode where 4 players play as humans against 4 players controlling the zombies. This mode received quite a bit of criticism.

Back 4 Blood is reminiscent of Left 4 Dead in principle and offers you some highlights:

Even in the beta, the shooter convinced many players, although there were also some minor issues. The weapon selection is quite limited, the maps sometimes work against the actual game design, and the first difficulty level is said to be “ridiculously easy.” The PvP mode also received criticism during the beta.
