What kind of game is this? Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical horror game in which a killer hunts a group of relatively defenseless survivors. His goal is to catch all other players and hang them on a meat hook.
The various killers in the game are modeled after some well-known horror figures like Michael Myers or Freddy Krueger. This adds an extra horror kick.
The survivors have various tricks to escape the killer and help each other. Their goal is to escape alive from the respective levels.
