WoW: Shadowlands – Patch 9.1
Genre: MMORPG | Developer: Blizzard Entertainment | Platform: PC | Release Date: November 23, 2004 | Model: Pay-to-Play
What kind of game is this? World of Warcraft is the most famous MMORPG in Europe and North America. Blizzard has released 8 expansions for WoW. It caters to solo players who want to experience the story, but also to fans of dungeons and raids, for which the game is regularly expanded, as well as PvP players who enjoy being in an arena.
WoW uses comic graphics, which have been polished over the expansions. In some places, however, the age shows; after all, WoW celebrated its 15th birthday. The combat system relies on classic tab-targeting.
These are the highlights of WoW
World of Warcraft offers you the opportunity to explore a massive world with a character and bring it to level 60 since Shadowlands. There is an enormous amount of content waiting for you:
- countless quests and stories
- a variety of regions
- numerous dungeons and raids
- various PvP content
With Shadowlands, there were numerous adjustments to the leveling process. As a new player, you have a completely adjusted starting area and can choose in which expansion you want to play and level up.
Why you should play WoW in July
On June 30, the new patch 9.1 was released. Among other things, it brought:
- The new area Korthia along with a new covenant campaign
- The mega-dungeon Tazavesh
- The new raid Sanctum of Domination
- Flying in the first areas of Shadowlands
The update is mainly aimed at veterans who have already experienced the previous content of Shadowlands. With Shadowlands itself, the game has become much more beginner-friendly due to the reduction of the max level to 60 and the new tutorial, so WoW in 2021 can also be worthwhile for complete newcomers.
