What kind of game is this? Fortnite is a PvP shooter where the goal is to be the last player standing in a match. You are thrown into a game world with up to 99 other players, competing against each other. You can fight alone, in pairs, or in a 4-player team.
The world shrinks as the match progresses, so you can’t hide forever. In the end, the showdown occurs, and only one player survives.
In addition to the battle royale, there is the PvE game “Save the World.” This co-op version was the original Fortnite but receives significantly less attention than the detached and incredibly popular mode Fortnite Battle Royale. “Save the World” remains fee-based.

Although Fortnite has only one real mode, the battle royale with 100 players, there is plenty of variety in the matches. This is due to the design of the game systems. Thus, there are:
- Different types of weapons and weapon types
- A comprehensive building system
- Loot drops that fall from the sky at irregular intervals – loot is generally random in Fortnite
- Regular events that add variety to the game
Since all players start with the same conditions, it heavily relies on the players’ decisions. That, along with the colorful and crazy world, makes Fortnite very popular with almost all players and many streamers.
Why you should play Fortnite in April
On March 16, Season 6 began with a live event. The theme “Prehistoric” was also introduced in the game. Through the changes to the map, new animals and new locations have been introduced. Additionally, a new battle pass has been released.
A highlight is the new prehistoric weapons you can craft.
