What is ArcheAge? ArcheAge is a sandbox MMORPG where you can forge your own path. True to sandbox games, there are no quests at the forefront.
Instead, you enjoy a lot of freedoms and can explore the world, join guilds, become a crafter, or even build an empire.
What does the Classic Server offer? In ArcheAge, the Classic servers are called “Fresh Start” servers, or “Legends Return”. Essentially, it does not aim to create a classic gameplay experience, players are just meant to start over.
- You must start completely fresh with a new hero
- They are so-called “Progression” servers. On these, new content is unlocked over time
- You start with the original version of the game. The later content is added gradually
- The “Fresh Start” servers include innovations to the game system and bug fixes
- You can play either for free or optionally with a subscription
- The servers allow you to progress slowly and steadily without feeling pressured to catch up to the most powerful players
When did the Classic Server launch? The “Fresh Start” servers launched on April 5, 2018.
Who is suited to play on the Classic Server? Anyone who does not want to stress and does not want to face overpowered players right away should consider starting on the “Fresh Start” servers and experience the content gradually.
