On various streaming services, there are more and more Korean series and movies. In this list, we have listed five series that you can watch if you are into truly crazy characters.
What are these series? As this is a list where you will find series with quite a few psycho characters, we can also directly say that some bloody scenes and difficult themes will await you. If this is not for you, then the following series are probably not meant for you either.
Death’s Game
Death’s Game is based on the webtoon of the same name and follows the story of Choi Yee Jae. The young man attempts to take his own life after not finding a job for seven years. Death himself, however, holds nothing of this attitude towards dying and decides to punish Yee Jae with a game.
He now awakens in 12 different lives but must die 12 times in these to eventually end up in hell. At some point, he discovers that he might get another chance in his real life if he survives one of these 12 attempts.
As Yee Jae is supposed to die several times, it is not surprising that he eventually encounters a ruthless serial killer who does not even spare his own family.
Vincenzo
Park Joo Hyung came to Italy at the age of 8, where he was adopted by a mafia boss and renamed Vincenzo Cassano. Later, he became a lawyer and consultant for the mafia. After the death of his adoptive father, his biological son tries to kill Vincenzo. For this reason, he flees back to Seoul in South Korea.
Back in his home country, he comes into contact with lawyer Hong Cha Young, who would do anything to win a case. Moreover, Vincenzo takes it upon himself to teach a ruthless corporation a lesson.
One of Vincenzo’s opponents turns out to be a calculating, narcissistic, and sadistic psychopath who at first does not seem to be what one suspects.
Strangers from Hell
Strangers from Hell is based on a webtoon of the same name. The story follows young crime author Yoon Jong Woo, who moves into a dark apartment complex in the city of Seoul after having lived in a small town all his life.
Due to a lack of money, Jong Woo has to decide to stay in a cheap apartment complex where the various parties have to share kitchen and bathroom. It quickly becomes clear that he has many eerie and shady new neighbors, which is why the young man feels increasingly uneasy.
One of his new neighbors is a single dentist who already leaves a quite disturbing impression from the very start.
