What is Conan Exiles? Conan Exiles is an open survival MMO set in the harsh world of Conan the Barbarian. You start as a nobody with nothing on you and nailed to a cross in the desert. Conan himself rescues you from the cross, and from there you must survive on your own.
During your journey through the desert, you will encounter ever more dangers that you must fend off, and occasionally friendly players or NPCs.
You explore various biomes, defeat enemies and dungeons, build your own fortress, and try to escape the lands of the exiles.
Here are the key features:
- A journey that guides you step by step through the world and to the end.
- A building system with many freedoms for creative constructions.
- A harsh, brutal world with many dangers but also many beautiful places to discover.
- A combat system with various styles, weapons, and combos.
The long-term motivation of Conan Exiles: Although the focus of Conan Exiles is on survival, it can be “completed”. A character that removes his bracelet can escape from the desert and is then free, but gets deleted.
The long-term motivation in Conan Exiles lies in surviving as comfortably as possible in the desert, icy mountains, volcano, or swamp for as long as you can.
There is also great emphasis on building and exploration, as you can always tackle new building projects or venture out to discover new secrets.
Additionally, Conan Exiles offers its own servers where you can play with your own rules. Do you want intense PvP brawls or rather peaceful exploration groups? Conquer the many dungeons with friends or even focus on role-playing? The choice is yours.
