Miyuki and Kaguya are both important members of the student council and belong to the elite of their school. They both have feelings for each other – but neither wants to take the first step. Because doing so would put one in a disadvantaged position. So they both devise plans on how to make the other person confess their love first. Their plans are repeatedly thwarted by the other members of the student council or their own mistakes.
What to expect from Kaguya-Sama: Love is War: There are countless romance anime – but none is as entertaining as Kaguya-Sama. The two protagonists are equals and regularly try to outsmart each other in mental duels … at least until their thoughts and the inability to cope with their feelings throw a wrench in the works. The side characters regularly bring entertaining chaos. Kaguya-Sama is proof that a rom-com can be fun and heartfelt without drifting into complete absurdity.

When Makoto celebrates her 15th birthday, it is tradition – like for all witches – that she becomes independent and turns to the study of witchcraft. She leaves her parents’ house with her black cat Chito and travels to a region where magic and nature spirits are particularly strong. The new living environment and the ever-present magic lead to all sorts of interesting situations and problems that Makoto must face.
What to expect from Flying Witch: Watching Makoto slowly get familiar with magic and encounter strange magical phenomena is simply pleasant and entertaining. Although there are problems to be solved, they are mostly of a humorous nature. Still, Flying Witch is a series with a lot of heart and great characters.
Essentially, “Flying Witch” is a significantly lighter and less dramatic variant of “The Ancient Magus Bride” – the series does without the emotional burden.

Kobayashi is a diligent employee who gives her all for her job and sinks into the lethargy of everyday life. At least until one day she opens her door and a huge dragon looks her in the face. The dragon instantly transforms into the cute Tooru in maid clothing, who for some reason is immensely grateful to Kobayashi.
Without any major objections, Tooru has decided to stay with Kobayashi during her lifetime to work as her maid and win her heart – and eventually make her eat a piece of her tail (no critical questions). While Kobayashi must cope with the madness that Tooru brings into her everyday life, Tooru has to adjust to the world of humans and learn a lot of new things…
What to expect from Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Fun. Just fun. The everyday life of Kobayashi and her dragon maid, who continually tries to express her love in new ways, is simply delightful to watch. The characters are colorful, a bit over the top, and yet all lovable. Although there is definitely a red thread in the storyline, it’s not a big deal if you miss an episode. If you just want to switch off and occasionally smile blissfully or chuckle with amusement, this is the right place.
