Amazon.de has launched the “Gaming Week”. Included are three laptops with RTX 3000, a Razer Blade, and a notebook from HP. We present the devices to you and reveal for whom the purchase might be worthwhile. Especially the Razer Blade 15 (2020) is currently available at a very good offer.
What are we presenting to you? Currently, there are several offers on Amazon.de for notebooks that provide enough power even for demanding gaming. We present to you five gaming notebooks that you can get during the Amazon Gaming Week.
How long do the offers last? The offers run from May 10 to May 13, 2021. During this period, the devices are on sale.
Gaming Laptop: What you should consider when buying
Here are some tips you should consider when buying a gaming laptop in 2021:
Graphics Card:
- Gaming laptops with a GTX 1650 are on the lower performance level. If you are a casual gamer and do not care about beautiful graphics, you can take a look at these devices. For people who play Fortnite and games without high graphics requirements, the performance is completely sufficient.
- With the GTX 1660 Ti and faster, you can play almost all modern titles on high settings. With these models, you will already benefit from higher FPS numbers – if your screen allows it.
- The mobile variants of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060, RTX 2070, and RTX 2080 offer enough power for maximum details and high frame rates. The new RTX 3000 mobile graphics chips are also at a similar performance level. However, prices are often above 1000 Euros.
RAM:
- If you want to game with the laptop, at least 16 GB of RAM should be installed. If you want to be future-proof, you should even plan for 32 GB.
- 8 GB is more likely found in budget laptops. With laptops that only have 8 GB of RAM, you should ensure that you can replace or upgrade the RAM.
Interfaces:
- HDMI, USB, LAN, and headphone ports should be present in every gaming notebook. A card reader can also be useful, but can also be retrofitted as an adapter.
- Thunderbolt ports are particularly interesting. Here, especially large amounts of data can be transferred in a short time. External graphics cards (so-called eGPUs) can be connected via this.
Display Size:
- Most gaming laptops are available in 15-inch and 17-inch sizes. Exceptions upwards and downwards, such as the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 (14 inches), are also available.
- 15-inch models are usually a bit cheaper than 17-inch models and take up less space on the desk. 17-inch models can display more details due to their larger screen. If you want to be very mobile, the smaller variant is recommended.
Laptop or Gaming PC: Prices for good laptops start at 700 Euros and can easily exceed the 1000 Euro mark with adequate performance. Basically, you should consider what you need the device for.
If your future notebook is primarily going to be on the desk anyway, you should look for a desktop PC instead.
ASUS TUF Gaming Dash F15 (RTX 3060)
This is what the device offers: The gaming notebook from ASUS offers you sufficient power for most games with Intel’s i7-11370H, 16 GB of RAM, and a mobile RTX 3060.
The 144Hz display is also suitable for fast games like shooters. Thanks to DLSS technology, you also benefit from high frame rates on your gaming laptop.
The testers from IGN are quite satisfied with the device (via IGN.com). The device offers strong performance, decent battery life, and a comfortable keyboard for gamers and heavy typists. The laptop lasts around 9 hours in office operation and about 2 hours in gaming use. The price is also reasonable for the hardware.
For whom is the device suitable? The notebook has plenty of power even for demanding applications. The RTX 3060 delivers many FPS even at high settings (and with DLSS) and can make good use of the 144Hz display.

GP76 Leopard 10UE-022 (RTX 3060)
This is what the device offers: The gaming notebook from MSI offers you an Intel i7-10870H, an RTX 3060, and 16 GB of RAM.
With a 17.3-inch display and 144Hz you get both a large and fast display. However, with 2.9 kg, the device is not exactly light and is therefore only partly intended for mobile use.
The English magazine Techradar tested the model with the RTX 3070 (via Techradar.com). The device delivers good performance, decent build quality, and an impressive display. The high weight and the noise and heat of the device are disadvantages.
For whom is the device suitable? The notebook offers you plenty of power for gaming. If you are looking for a simple gaming laptop with a great screen and decent build quality, you should take a look at the notebook from MSI. However, if you are looking for a device for mobile use away from the desk, you may not be happy.

ASUS ROG TUF F15 (RTX 3070)
This is what the device offers: With the ASUS ROG TUF F15, you get a notebook with an Intel i7-11370H, 16 GB of RAM, and an RTX 3070.
With its 144Hz screen, ASUS aims to attract gamers of fast games.
Notebookcheck took a closer look at the device in a review (via Tomshardware.com). The gaming laptop offers you a good battery life and a fast screen, and the noise under load is also exemplary. However, the installed RTX 3070 does not reach its potential and resembles the performance of last-generation laptops with RTX 2000.
For whom is the device suitable? If you are looking for a well-built laptop with a good display and a weight of about 2 kg, then you should take a look at the TUF F15.

HP OMEN 15-dh1657ng (RTX 2060)
This is what the device offers: With this HP gaming notebook, you get an Intel Core i5-10300H, 16 GB of RAM, and a GeForce RTX 2060. This allows you to play most modern titles smoothly even at high details. In addition, there is a 144Hz display, which is well-suited for fast games.
Notebookcheck tested the OMEN 15 with the RTX 2060 instead of the GTX 1660 Ti. The remaining hardware, such as the i5-10300H or the display, is identical (via Notebookcheck.com). In tests, the device mainly impresses with decent performance and good battery life. The device also offers Thunderbolt 3. However, the pure WiFi performance is not very convincing, and the device gets hot and loud under load.
For whom is the device suitable? If you are looking for a fast gaming notebook with enough power for modern titles and good battery life (6 hours office, 2 hours under load), you should check out the OMEN notebook.
