Currently, the Steam Steam Next Fest
is taking place, which means a lot of games that you can test for free. It is not easy to choose from thousands of games, so we at MeinMMO have put together a small list for you of games that we think are worth a look.
Until when does the Steam Next Fest run? The Steam Next Fest, where you can currently test many games for free, runs until October 16, 2023. So if you find one of the following games interesting, you only have a few days left to check it out, as not all demos will likely be available after this period.
Enshrouded

Enshrouded is a survival role-playing game that you can play alone or cooperatively with up to 16 players. It is one of the most anticipated games at Steam Next Fest. With its mix of exploration, survival, and combat in a medieval setting, including magical aspects, Enshrouded probably hits exactly the taste of the players.
During the demo, you will get a good insight into the first hours of the game.
Last Train Home

In this real-time strategy game, you face an important, but equally distressing and difficult task. You are responsible for bringing the Czechoslovak soldiers back home aboard an armored train.
To do this, you must make important decisions and manage your resources wisely. Because every decision you make affects the fate of your comrades, and the better you prepare them for the upcoming real-time battles, the higher their chances are. The game reminds you with the harshness of its decision-making options of Frostpunk.
RoboCop: Rogue City

In this first-person shooter, you are half human, half machine, and fight for justice in old Detroit. With more than 20 available weapons, you will take down the criminals who are wreaking havoc in the city. Because you are the most effective police officer in all of Detroit, thanks to your robot strength and cybernetic abilities.
However, if you want to experience the first part of the main story, filled with exciting battles, in the current demo, you need to prepare for a 38 GB download.
The Inquisitor

In this role-playing game, you take on a rather unusual role and become the hunter and judge of sinners. Rather rarely does the player take on this role in fantasy games. Just to not always be the good guy
, it might be worth checking out this demo.
The story takes place in an alternate religious reality, in which Jesus did not die on the cross, but instead broke free when close to death and went on a rampage against the unbelievers. The Inquisitor takes place 1500 years after these events.

The Talos Principle 2

This puzzle game is perfect for you if you want to really rack your brains and enjoy truly challenging puzzles. Just like its predecessor, this second part will impress you with interesting and demanding puzzles.
In The Talos Principle, you explore a fascinating world and a city inhabited by robots. In this new world, the biological humanity has disappeared, and human culture continues only in the robot city. Here, it is at least promised that everything should go better than it did with humans.
