Episode 235 of the anime Bleach is situated in the middle of the filler arc about the Zanpakuto Rebellion. Here, the Zanpakuto spirits rebel against their Shinigami masters. The spirits are the personified souls of the swords used by the Shinigami in battle. They are not just weapons, but have their own personalities.
In this arc, they physically manifest for the first time and fight against their owners. This is made possible by the antagonist Muramasa, who is popular among fans. Representative of the arc is Episode 235, as multiple fights take place simultaneously.
