Rank 4: Rancor

The Rancor also premiered in Episode 6, just like the Sarlacc. This beast is a true nightmare. It grows to up to 5 meters and is not only large and outwardly terrifying, it also devours anything that comes into its eerie mouth.
Rancors are extremely brutal, yet also hard to bring down. Sure, Luke Skywalker would say otherwise, but these beings are very resilient. Blaster fire barely affects the thick skin of a Rancor. Tricks like trap doors are required.
You can train a Rancor and keep it as a lap dog, as Jabba the Hutt has proven. Anyone who doesn’t enjoy Jabba’s favor is in trouble. All in all, our Rank 4 is a truly dangerous being, especially when it comes to size, it cannot compete with Rank 3.
