5. Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Comic: Buffy the Vampire Slayer: In Space No One Can Hear You Slay (2012)
After the events of season 8, Buffy finally wants to take a vacation. Her colleague comes up with the brilliant idea of simply vacationing on a space station. But as luck would have it, there is no one there except a Xenomorph. (via Xenopedia)
This comic is primarily based on the first film, in which Ellen Ripley fought alone against the Xenomorph. Some scenes from the comic are inspired by scenes from the 1979 film.
These alien comics are of course not canon. That we will ever see one of these crossovers on the big screen is also highly unlikely, as most film rights are spread across multiple studios. Fans won’t have to wait long for new content about the Xenomorph. The upcoming film looks promising: “Really brings back the look of the first film” – New trailer for Alien: Romulus focuses again on true horror.
