PS5 Design – Simple
What does the design offer? The design comes from user CrimsonNocturne (via Resetera). The user focuses on a combination of the devkit and the shapes of the PS4.
This gives the design a calm and simple look, but it does not appear as crazy and futuristic as some other concepts.

User Snoreyn writes: “I don’t really like the design, but I think it’s the best concept so far because it looks realistic without all the futuristic trappings that usually get added. I hope Sony sticks to its vertical design; the new Xbox is a good example of that.”
Rylock explains: “I like the design, but with this design, cooling might be difficult. I swear, if Sony makes its PS5 as loud as my PS4 Pro, I will skip this generation and make the most of my PC.”
KetchG only says: “I think it’s pretty good. It would just be cool if the thin strip between the two prisms would disappear, which looks like the strip of the PS4.”
