What kind of game is Granny Simulator? The everyday simulation revolves around an elderly character who is terrorized by her grandson. One player takes on the role of the slightly senile grandma, while another plays the nasty grandson who doesn’t like his grandma at all.
If you start as grandma, you immediately need a handful of pills to remember what to do. Your goal is then to complete all tasks in the household. Sounds simple, right? However, what you apparently can’t remember despite the pills is that you’re taking care of your troublemaking grandson, who is a spawn of hell.
Despite her tender age, he knows his way around weapons and has something against his mentally unstable grandma. If you’re the baby, you need to take out grandma. To do this, there are a variety of sharp, blunt, or explosive items around the map to prevent grandma from watering her flowers in the most brutal way.
However, grandma is not entirely helpless. In the house, there are age-appropriate stun guns, pepper spray-like insecticides, and grandma also has a powerful baby free kick in store.

The simulation offers you a crazy adventure for 2 – 4 players and is basically of interest to anyone who enjoys smaller games with their friends from time to time. The focus is clearly on the unusual experience that the simulator provides. If you had fun with wacky games like “Goat Simulator”, you won’t be disappointed with Granny Simulator.
How much time can you invest? It’s really just something for “in-between.” You can unlock a few things and different maps, but basically, the title lives on its brief gameplay, which wears off after a few hours. With a price of €3.99 and the prospect of a few hours of laughter with a stomachache, you can hardly go wrong.
How do the ratings look? The game is rated “Very Positive” on Steam, with 92% of the 1,661 reviews giving the title a thumbs up. (As of March 21, 2021)
What will happen next with Granny Simulator? The game is a one-man project of developer Nick Kestle. On Steam, he states that more weapons and maps are to come before the full release. He also wants to incorporate ideas from the community and possibly a single-player mode if the players want it. Additionally, he announces that Granny Simulator will cost only €3.99 at release.
