We show you the best landing spots in Fortnite. These landing spots are great because you can find a lot of loot there and encounter fewer opponents.
The right choice of landing spot is always a trade-off between potential loot and the number of opponents you have to face.
Tilted Town and Paradise Palms (this location is probably getting a change soon) are good landing spots for good loot – but the number of opponents you encounter can be intimidating.
At the landing spots in Fortnite that we present to you here, you won’t have to fight with hordes of opponents for the loot. These places are rarely visited and offer a lot of loot.
Landing Spot 1: Viking Mountain + Snobby Shores
What makes this place so special? The Viking Mountain offers you one large and six smaller buildings to loot. Additionally, there’s a large Viking ship. In total, you’ll find about 10 chests. There’s also plenty of wood and stone to gather.
If you have time and the storm zone moves in your favor, you can also stop by Snobby Shores. Snobby Shores has four large houses with a lot of loot (especially suitable for teams) and plenty of materials to gather. You will also encounter a Reboot Bus.
Landing Spot 2: Lazy Lagoon
What makes this place so special? Lazy Lagoon offers you many options, for example a large wooden ship with many chests and a small town that you can loot. Additionally, there is a lot of wood and stone to gather, so you will be well-equipped for the end game.
If you need a Reboot Bus, there is one available at Lazy Lagoon. At this location, you usually only meet one other team. If you are going solo, you can expect around 1-2 opponents.
Depending on where the next zone is located, you can also make a detour to Tomato Temple. There, you will also find some chests and be able to gather a lot of stone.
Landing Spot 3: Lonely Lodge
What makes this place so special? Lonely Lodge has a lot to offer. You can find many loot spots, mushrooms, campfires, and sometimes even a vending machine and a Reboot Bus. You can gather plenty of materials as there are many trees, stones, and cars around. This way, you can head to the endgame well-equipped.
You are unlikely to meet opponents here. If you are going solo, it can happen that you encounter one opponent.
After Lonely Lodge, you can visit the trailer park. There, you will find plenty of ammunition and a few chests.
Landing Spot 4: Shifty Shafts:
What makes this place so special? Shifty Shafts offers many loot opportunities. There are also two adjacent houses that you can loot. It is rather centrally located on the map, and there is a Reboot Van available if you need to bring back your teammates.
To recharge your shield, you can also snack on the mushrooms that are around Shifty Shafts.
Depending on which route you choose, you can walk to Tilted Town or Salty Springs. But keep in mind that you will likely encounter opponents there.
Landing Spot 5: Happy Hamlet
What makes this place so special? Since Happy Hamlet is a small winter town, it has a lot of loot to offer. At this location, you should know your way around to loot quickly. Usually, there is also a vending machine, and you can gather a lot of materials (especially stone).
If you need a Reboot Bus, you will find one in Happy Hamlet. Due to its loot, the location is popular, and it’s likely that you will encounter opponents.
You should loot Happy Hamlet quickly because it is usually far outside the zone. Depending on where the zone takes you, you can stop by the big chair or the small factory and gather even more loot.
