The Ancient Magus‘ Bride
This is what it’s about: The orphan girl Chise Hatori is a Japanese high school student who does not quite fit into society. In search of someone to take care of her, she auctions herself off. She is won at the auction by Elias Ainsworth, a humanoid with a skeleton head.
Chise is unsure whether Elias can provide her with a safe home. He is, after all, a magician who sees himself more as a demon. But despite Elias’s creepy appearance, he turns out to be a good mentor for Chise.
