Black Summoner is the newest of the featured anime series. The production took place in 2022 and is completed with one season so far. The accompanying novels and manga continue the story until today. Therefore, it is possible that the anime may be continued at a later date.
What is it about? Kelvin wakes up with no memory in a strange place. He discovers that he has exchanged this memory for powerful abilities. He is an S-rank summoner who can conjure all sorts of beings.
His first companion is exactly the goddess who brought him into this world. Kelvin begins his new life as an adventurer and realizes over time that he has a penchant for battles. With the ability to tame opposing monsters, he secures the loyalty of many creatures. However, the focus of this series is not as much on monster collecting as in other animes from this list.

Some of you may remember Monster Rancher from the 2000s. The anime aired in Germany on RTL II and was a regular guest on the midday program. Unfortunately, there is currently no way to watch the anime online. You can only purchase the anime on DVD or digitally.
What is it about? The boy Genki Sakura is a talented fighter in the video game Monster Rancher. During a tournament, he wins a special CD that unlocks a new monster in this video game. Upon returning home, he inserts the CD but is suddenly sucked into the world of monsters.
Once in this world, he meets Holly and her monster partner Suezo. The two aim to find a stone disk that can summon the phoenix. It is supposed to free the land from the tyranny of an evil ruler.
