The Little Princess Sara

What is it about? Sara lives with her French mother and English father in India. When her mother passes away, her father sends her to a girls’ boarding school in London. However, she is called into the headmistress’s office, only to find out that her father has also passed away.
The young girl then becomes an orphan and loses her status at the boarding school. She has to toil as a maid to survive. Moreover, her friends turn against her when they learn that Sara suddenly is an orphan.
