What is it about? The anime is based on a Norwegian children’s book. Mrs. Pfeffertopf leads a normal life with her husband in a small village. However, the elderly lady shrinks to the size of a mouse every time she sneezes. In this tiny state, she experiences various adventures, during which she even talks to animals.
She always tries to hide her secret from other people – even from her own husband. The only person she can relate to is a girl named Lily who lives in the forest.
Who is the anime for? The series is primarily suitable for younger children. It has a harmless story, thus is completely free of violence. Additionally, it depicts everyday situations from which children might still learn something. For adults, the anime is probably only worth watching if they enjoy retro animes.
