What is this achievement? For this achievement, you must collect 400 different mounts in WoW.
How many have achieved it? According to WoWHead, approximately 8% of accounts have currently achieved the achievement. However, the achievement was introduced with patch 8.1 in August 2018. In January 2021, only 4% of players had achieved this.
This is due to the fact that players had more time for the achievement but also because new mounts are constantly being introduced. Currently, there are over 460, which means that particularly rare mounts do not need to be collected. Thus, the achievement gradually loses its significance, although it was extremely difficult at one point.
What makes the achievement so difficult? Essentially, there are two hurdles: on the one hand, you must decide which mounts you want to collect, and on the other hand, you have to complete the tasks required for collecting the mounts.
The mounts in WoW vary in difficulty to earn:
- Some can be easily purchased from vendors
- For some, you need a specific reputation
- For others, you have to complete certain other achievements or dungeons
- For the hardest, you have only a low drop chance from bosses
Among the rarest mounts are the Ashes of Al’ar or the Sun Hawk of the Pinnacle. Both mounts are dropped by bosses, with a drop chance of well under one percent. For the Ashes of Al’ar, even 4,300 euros were reportedly paid in WoW Classic.

Godslayer/Goddess of Sunspire – The Elder Scrolls Online
What is this achievement? For this achievement, you must complete the trial Sunspire in veteran mode within 30 minutes and without any group member being killed.
How many have achieved it? According to the ESO-Database website, currently 82 characters in ESO have achieved this success. However, only players using the tool are measured. The database currently contains 66,052 characters – which corresponds to a ratio of 0.12% of the players listed there.
What makes the achievement so difficult? In the Sunspire trial, you will face several trash groups and three dragon bosses:
- Yolnahkriin is a fire dragon that annoys you with exploding fire areas. He also spreads debuffs and adds that can hit hard.
- Lokkestiiz is an ice dragon. He also creates dangerous areas and a death ray that you should not stand in. You will also face adds that preferably should be drawn into areas.
- Nahviintaas is the last boss and a golden dragon. His adds are a bit tougher. Furthermore, he requires even more movement from your group. For example, three group members must go through shadow portals and kill minibosses.
Time is of the essence. You must finish in 30 minutes and also cannot let any group member die. This is still a challenge even three years after the trial’s release – also because ESO keeps introducing new sets with new effects, but the strength of the gear itself does not increase.

Ultimate Ironman – Old School RuneScape
What is this achievement? The Ultimate Ironman is not a classic achievement but a mode in Old School RuneScape introduced in 2014. In this mode, you play as a character who starts from scratch and cannot die. Upon death, they lose their hardcore status and become a “regular Ironman”.
Additionally, there are dozens of restrictions that make the mode even harder.
What makes the mode so difficult? After creating a new character, you can activate the Ironman mode with an NPC on the tutorial island. The following restrictions apply:
- You cannot trade with other players
- You cannot pick up drops from other players, even if you defeat them in PvP
- You do not gain XP from PvP
- You are excluded from specific group content
- You cannot put items in the bank, nor take them out
- You lose access to some daily rewards
These restrictions are meant to ensure that you do not receive help from other players but navigate the game world independently and without dying.
