In Minecraft, a player learns the hard way how dangerous thunderstorms are in the game. The misfortune happens just at the moment when he is taking care of his rabbit enclosure with a dozen cute bunnies.
What kind of video is this? Various dangers are lurking in Minecraft for players. At night, zombies and creepers appear, besieging you and your base. But even nature can become dangerous.
A player filmed just how dangerous the weather can be in one of his Minecraft sessions and shared the clip with the community.

What bad luck did the player have? On his map, reddit user regalfuzz is building an enclosure for his rabbits. Nicely fenced, with a tree and a water source, the little hoppers feel at home. The player feeds them carrots to expand his rabbit collection even further. The resource pack enhances the cute appearance, giving the bunnies adorable little heads with big eyes.
But just as the player leaves the enclosure, nature strikes. A lightning bolt crashes to the ground, destroying all the cute life in the enclosure. For animal lovers, it’s a gruesome sight – the clip goes viral on reddit.
The clip received over 41,000 upvotes and more than 900 comments in just under a day. Regalfuzz himself titles the video “My Bunnies” and adds two sad emojis.
What the viewers are saying: The comments feature exciting observations. For instance, BedrockPanda writes that the first rabbit probably knew what was going to happen. Because a rabbit follows regalfuzz as he leaves the enclosure and then runs around on the grass outside. After the lightning strike, you can see that the rabbit is still happily (and alive!) wandering around.
User okish_on_the_inside writes “I can’t believe that the meat is not cooked.” Because after the lightning strike, there is “loot” in the form of meat in the enclosure. The creator of the clip explains that only half of the meat was cooked and he himself does not understand why that is.
