The anime classic is indeed much darker than he expected from animes. The user is said to have fallen in love with the Neo-Tokyo and cyberpunk style of the film. This is especially funny since the anime is almost as old as the user himself.

What other animes has he discovered? After Akira awakened his love for animes, he started looking for more series. After watching a few trailers, Hell’s Paradise caught his eye. Both the animations and the story convinced him so much that the anime became his favorite.
On the other hand, Attack on Titan didn’t convince him as much. While he likes the action sequences and the story, he doesn’t enjoy the slow narrative pace and the repetition of certain story elements.
