Sea Elves
- Special Abilities: Child of the Sea, Friend of the Sea
If you have a penchant for the sea and maritime themes, you will find in Sea Elves a welcome alternative to their classic counterparts on land.
They live in all seas, often near the coast and in either smaller settlements or larger cities near the elven realm of Evermeet. Some of their settlements can also be found on the Elemental Plane of Water.
They possess gills and webbed hands and predominantly appear in various shades of blue and green. Like other elves, they can live over 750 years and do not need to sleep to recover but rely on deep meditation instead.
Due to their habitat (and the ability Child of the Sea), they can breathe both on land and in water and have resistance to cold damage.
Their special ability Friend of the Sea allows you to convey simple ideas to all sea creatures and speak with them so that they understand you. However, they cannot respond to you in return, but they are willing to help you.
