The loot shooter Borderlands 3 offers players 4 different Vault Hunters, each with 3 skill trees. This could change soon. A leak has appeared on Reddit reporting new skill trees and action skills.
While in Borderlands 3 the new DLC has launched with much positive feedback, many players wish for a bit more versatility with the Vault Hunters.
What is this leak about? Over on the Borderlands 3 Reddit, a post by the user DelusionPhantom has surfaced. He states that he is about 80% sure he found new skill trees and action skills for the Vault Hunters in Borderlands 3 through data mining.
With the help of two other users, Jaykobin and chancehugs, he was able to refine the data further. We at MeinMMO want to share this information with you and reveal what is known about the supposed new skill trees.
More versatility for your Vault Hunters
Not much is known yet about the individual skill trees and action skills. However, the data miners have already provided some names and the first content details.
This is new for FL4K: The new skill tree of the Beastmaster FL4K is said to be called “Gravity Trap,” just like the associated action skill. This roughly translates to “Gravity Trap.”
The exact effects of this attack are not yet clear. However, according to the leak, it is already confirmed that the associated pet will be a Loader Bot. Additionally, there is said to be a talent hidden in the new skill tree that allows FL4K to summon all his pets to the field.
This tree is for Moze: Moze’s new action skill and associated skill tree are said to be called “Iron Cub.” So like a little iron puppy.
It is reportedly not an extension of the existing bear, but a smaller version. It is supposed to function like a pet or toy.
This is changing for Zane: The Vault Hunter Zane will receive a Shoulder Cannon, basically a shoulder-mounted gun.
This is supposed to be a skill he can use once or with a few charges, similar to FL4K’s Rakk Attack. This could allow him to use his skills more versatile. For example, after an action skill and not only during.
This is how it looks for Amara: Very little is known about Amara’s new skill tree or action skill. Not even a name is mentioned. However, it seems to be something related to her Phasegrasp.
What is true about this leak remains to be seen. We are definitely excited to see if there will be new skill trees and action skills in Borderlands 3 soon.
