Harry Potter: Wizards Unite – January 31, 2022

What kind of game is this? Wizards Unite comes from developer Niantic, who are also behind Pokémon GO. Instead of small Pokémon, you will fight magical creatures from Harry Potter here. All well-known characters from the books and films can be found here.
As a wizard, you fight against dark magic. You have the choice of three professions that you can level up.
Just like in Pokémon GO, you have to move a lot and wander through the ‘real world’. Only then will you encounter the enemies you need to defeat.
Why was it shut down? There is no official reason for the end of Wizards Unite. However, the game was not nearly as well-known and successful as Pokémon GO.
Is it worth playing it again? Wizards Unite is the first title on the list that has already been completely shut down. So you can no longer play it.
Kritika: Reboot – February 16, 2022

What kind of game is this? Kritika: Reboot is an online role-playing game that focuses on straightforward and fast fights. Pure action awaits you right from the start. After choosing one of the 10 classes, you fight your way to level 70 and collect various weapons and armor along the way.
Like in Guild Wars 1, you always start your adventure from a hub and then enter instanced areas. You can do this alone or in a group.
Since its release in 2019, new events and free updates have been repeatedly released.
Why is it being shut down? The original Kritika was closed by the publisher En Masse in 2019. A few months later, Kritika: Reboot was released.
This is the global version of the game, which also included more classes and some revisions. However, this version was also unable to convince the mainstream audience. In recent months, an average of only slightly over 90 people played Kritika. In September 2021, there were only over 200 players online at peak times.
Is it worth playing it again? The MMO is perfect for hacking through dungeons alone or with friends and taking out everything that stands in your way. With the action-packed combat system and huge numbers, fun is guaranteed.
The game featured obvious pay-to-win, but the shop was already deactivated in January. Since the game is free to play, you lose nothing by trying it out. You can download it on Steam, among other platforms.
