The mid-season update of Call of Duty: Warzone brought a plethora of changes to weapons. Many important weapons have been nerfed and the average time-to-kill has increased significantly. MeinMMO shows you 3 weapons that you can’t go wrong with shortly after the update.
Mid-Season 4 has significantly disrupted the weapon meta of Call of Duty: Warzone. Many nerfs, a few buffs, changes in recoil – over 40 weapons have been adjusted and many have new base values for damage.
Which weapons will prevail with this new meta remains to be seen. However, initial analyses show trends, and MeinMMO presents 3 weapons that are definitely strong enough to be part of the new meta in Warzone. In the list, you’ll find the assault rifle Krig 6, the MP5 from CoD MW, and the LMG RPD – all with verified setups.
Assault Rifle: Krig 6 – If you don’t want to miss the shots
What makes the Krig 6 strong? The assault rifle was already a strong choice before the update. With the numerous nerfs to high-range automatic weapons, the Krig has moved even further forward. It even received a slight buff and now inflicts more damage at range. However, the true strength of the Krig lies not in its damage potential but in its handling. This thing is incredibly stable and allows you to easily land hits.

Submachine Gun: MP5 from CoD MW – Passed the update unscathed
What makes the MP5 from CoD MW strong? Like the Krig, the MP5 from CoD MW has always been a strong choice in Warzone. However, due to engaged competitors like the MP5 from Cold War and the MAC-10, the MP5 from CoD MW has flown somewhat under the radar. With nerfs to the strong competitors, the release MP from Modern Warfare is back on top, offering you a strong time-to-kill of nearly 500 milliseconds up to 10 meters and is very controllable.

Light Machine Guns: RPD – Forgets recoil after a few shots
What makes the RPD strong? If you are a fan of LMGs, now could be the hour of the RPD. The popular Stoner 63 has suffered a bit in the update, and the RPD is asserting itself due to its strong handling. The time-to-kill is decent, although affected by an open-bolt delay. The special feature of the RPD is its light recoil – once you fire a few rounds from the barrel, the weapon hardly recoils anymore. If you stay in sustained fire, enemies at very long distances are also not a problem.

Most of the important automatic weapons are weaker with Mid-Season 4, but no firearm has been “broken patched”. You can still rely on the FARA, clean up with the C58, or bring back old classics from CoD MW.
