Starfield throws you into the open world of the stars after the introduction. But before diving into the fray, you should complete the side quests listed here. They will reward you.
What are these side quests? During your travels through Starfield, you will encounter many NPCs and things that want to give you tasks. Besides your main story, you can also find side activities to explore multiple facets of the sci-fi game.
Some of these quests can be started right at the beginning, bringing you interesting missions or granting you strong items and benefits for your further journey. We now show you 3 side quests that you should complete at the beginning of your journey.
Here we have a deep dive into shipbuilding in Starfield for you in the video:
1. Defensive Measures, False Positives and Leader of the Pack
Where can I find the quests? This trio of missions can be found right in Akila City in Akila in the Cheyenne system. Follow the main mission “Empty Nest.” Through this mission, you will also receive the side quests that you can complete on the side.
What do I get for it? A rare, heavy weapon that resembles a shotgun. It is powerful and a good option to arm yourself strongly from the beginning.
2. A Tree grows on New Atlantis
Where can I find the quest? You can find the quest in New Atlantis, near a large tree. To do so, speak to Kelton Frush.
What do I get for it? This is a story mission without aggressive and lethal actions. Rather, it revolves around deeper insights into the political affairs of Starfield and the scientific community. If you’re eager for more story, feel free to check out the mission.
3. The Lair of the Mantis
Where can I find the quest? You can find the quest in the mission “Back to Vectera” when you pick up a note with the inscription “Secret Base” from a pirate corpse.
What do I get for it? You will receive a powerful suit and a ship for your crew, but beware: The system in which the mission is located is intended for high-level players. Nevertheless, it could be worth a detour. You can find out how to tackle the mission in our guide.
