In autumn, there are again plenty of new anime. We present to you the three most important ones that you shouldn’t miss in the coming weeks.
The last anime season of the year 2024 is approaching, as the autumn season is on the starting blocks. New series will begin in October and (hopefully!) entertain us until Christmas. To help you know which series you should take a look at, we have briefly introduced the upcoming highlights here. In some cases, they are entirely new anime, but sometimes they are also continuations of already existing popular series.
DAN DA DAN

The two high school students Momo and Ken have hardly anything in common – they even have very different views. While Ken believes that aliens exist, along with a major conspiracy to cover it up, Momo is convinced that ghosts and paranormal events exist. The two make a pact and try to convince each other that they are right. The problem: Both quickly realize that both aliens and evil spirits exist – and thus their problems begin, as the world could now be plunged into chaos.
Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World Season 3

After 3 long years of waiting, the story of Subaru finally continues. Even though Re:Zero is essentially an isekai, it is considered one of the best representatives of this genre. Unlike many other series, Re:Zero has very dark themes, does not shy away from physical and psychological violence, and presents an extremely complex, well-thought-out world. The fact that when the protagonist dies, time is reversed, adds a lot of drama – as everything Subaru has experienced, all relationships, contacts, and successes, could be lost in the next moment.
It is highly recommended to watch the first two seasons beforehand to follow the plot.
Dragon Ball Daima

For 40 years now, the story around the Dragon Balls has been delighting anime fans all around the world. In line with this anniversary, there is a new season that in a way returns to the beginnings of the series. In Dragon Ball Daima, Son Goku, Vegeta, and the other well-known characters are transformed back into their child forms. The reason for this is – as should be expected – once again the wish to the dragon.
For long-time fans, this is likely to be a nostalgic celebration that reminds them of the beginnings of this franchise.
Of course, the season has even more anime to offer, including a continuation of Blue Lock or Bleach. Generally, it’s always worth taking a look at least at the first episode of each anime to get an impression of what you might be missing.
