You still have time to farm these three cool mounts in World of Warcraft. If you miss them now, you will regret it later.
World of Warcraft can be a bit overwhelming right now. There are many events and a lot to do. Especially the “Bounty of the Collector” ensures that you can basically go through all the old content to have an increased chance of rare mounts or transmog rewards.
But where does the bonus pay off the most? Which raids should you definitely play if you have little time? We have picked three mounts for you from which you will benefit the most from the time savings of the event.
Why these 3 mounts? Of course, you can use the event to farm all the mounts you want. However, we focused on mounts in this list that have particularly long travel times – for example, because the corresponding boss is at the very end of the raid, and there are no or insufficient shortcuts.
With such long travel times, the increased drop chance is particularly worthwhile, as you will save a lot of time in the future when you have to farm the mount again without this bonus.
Mimiron’s Head
Raid: Ulduar
Zone: Storm Peaks (Northrend)
Drop chance: 6% during the event, otherwise 1%
Ulduar is considered one of the largest and best raids in the history of World of Warcraft. What was a lot of fun back then is now proving to be a special challenge. The path to the final boss, Yogg-Saron, is particularly long. But as is customary in WoW, the end boss just happens to have the stylish mount “Mimiron’s Head” – at least in rare cases.
While you do not have to defeat all the bosses and can skip a few (like Auriaya or Ignis), a large part of the instance must be cleared of bosses before you can face Yogg-Saron.
For this reason, it is particularly worthwhile to visit Ulduar as often as possible during the “Bounty of the Collector” event to benefit from the +5% chance. Your alt characters will thank you in the future when they think of all the saved hours of travel that a visit to Ulduar can entail.
