Fans praise the game as a “love letter to the 30-year history of the series.” Generally, it is said to be perfect for JoJo fans, yet players also mention that it could not fully convince as a fighting game and that the online experience is rather not recommended. However, battles against friends are said to be particularly fun.

The Gundam franchise is known for animes, mangas, movies, and model kits. A Gundam is a “human-controlled mobile suit combat machine.”
In Gundam Evolution, you take on one of the various mobile suit units and play 6v6 matches against other players. The Gundam units used in the rounds have thrusters that allow you to move quickly and accelerate rapidly. Accordingly, the gameplay focus of the shooter is on speed and action.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel

You collect Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, build a deck, and fight against other players. The game also offers a short campaign including a tutorial.
The game developed by Konami was released in January 2022 and had an average of 15,945 players on Steam in November 2022. The peak value for the month even reached 32,915 (via SteamCharts). Of the three games on this list, Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel has the highest number of players on Steam. With 77%, a large majority of the over 53,000 Steam reviews are also positive.
A plus point for players is primarily the fact that it is an official and free Yu-Gi-Oh! game. This allows fans of the card game to compile their card decks in the digital version of their hobby.
A criticism from players, however, is the game’s meta. Players prepare long combinations and want to finish a match in as few moves as possible. This means that you may have to wait several minutes until the turn is completed before you can act yourself.
But the biggest criticism is probably the real-money shop of the game, as it offers the possibility to quickly acquire good cards. There is a Pay2Win accusation in the air.
In contrast, however, is the crafting system of the game, which can be used to create a good deck without spending much money. Pay2Win only really takes effect when someone wants to own a variety of different decks. Generally, you can have fun with Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel without spending a penny.
