The Berliner Kilian “Tanzverbot” Heinrich (28) is actually successful on Twitch, but he has not been online since October 2024. In a two-hour stream, he now talks about his situation.
What is the situation? The Berliner Kilian “Tanzverbot” Heinrich initially became known for “Asian content” on YouTube. However, through his self-deprecating style, he grew close to his fans. But the content creator apparently has problems:
- In November 2023, he announced that he was broke. He had lived beyond his means, worked less as a content creator, and unknowingly accumulated tax debts.
- Tanzverbot wanted to focus more on his internet career to work his way out of debt. His Twitch colleague MontanaBlack even offered him 1,000 euros as a financial incentive to fully commit to Twitch again.
- However, since October 2024, the streamer has not been seen on Twitch, and the YouTube channel with over 1 million subscribers has been inactive even longer, since his confession in November 2023.
On February 7, 2025, Tanzverbot reached out to his fans in a stream on TikTok – he didn’t dare to do so on Twitch.
Streamer says he has nothing left in life
This is what the streamer says now: As Tanzverbot explains, the last few months have been extremely difficult for him. He comes from a very toxic relationship – which relationship that was can be assumed – and now he has nothing left in life.
The streamer reports problems with his mental health. He criticizes people who tell him that he just needs to stream more again.
He is not ruining his career simply because he does not feel like it; there is more to it, says Tanzverbot. Whether he has depression, he does not know, but he is “definitely very, very down.”
Tanzverbot apparently copes with his sorrow by going out regularly. In the last four months, he has gone out about 4 or 5 times a week. But aside from that, he has barely gone outside. He also consumes a lot of alcohol when partying – something the streamer viewed critically in the past. However, it is important for him to emphasize that he does not consume any drugs otherwise.
Furthermore, the 28-year-old still apparently has financial problems: He last contacted his tax advisor in September, and his financial situation does not look good; he can still afford food. He is still waiting for the promised 1,000 euros from MontanaBlack.
It is clear that Tanzverbot is unhappy with his current situation but cannot manage to change anything on his own. He says that he has a weak disposition to begin with. The 2.5 years of toxic relationship have completely broken him. However, he does not want to seek professional help.
Community is worried about Tanzverbot
In the subreddit r/Laesterschwestern, one of the largest German-speaking communities about streamers, the appearance is being discussed. While there are also critical voices, many viewers apparently find it sad to see the streamer like this and wish him to get back on track.
- ModusMio: “Really sad that he has developed into what he once criticized. Hopefully, he gets out of it.”
- Hastirasd: “You can think what you want of him. But a few years ago, he really made a big effort to get things under control. It’s really sad that it has declined again. I truly hope he can get himself together.”
- Dizzy-Square-95: “Sad man. I don’t really follow Tanzi, but he was on a really good path lately. I wish him nothing but the best.”
Although Tanzverbot talks a lot about his personal problems in his nearly two-hour stream, TikTok is not the place for a proper “deep talk.” He intends to address that on Twitch in due time. However, as of now, that has not yet happened. Last, the streamer reached out in January with a post.
