What is Minecraft Legends? Normally, in Minecraft, mobs like zombies, skeletons, and creepers are your enemies, but in the latest game, that’s no longer the case.
You take on the role of a fearless hero who unites all creatures and beings to fight against evil.
The piglins from the Nether break through to the peaceful, bright overworld and want to turn it into their world, filled with darkness, fire, and lava. You must stop them with the help of unusual allies. You can see this well in the trailer from minute 1:09.
Minecraft as an Action Strategy Game with Multiplayer
What genre does the game fall into? Minecraft Legends is fundamentally a strategy game but has mechanics inspired by action games. You find yourself in third-person perspective, riding a horse, and can fight with a sword.
The strategy aspect comes into play when you have to command your army of allies to combat the piglins. You will protect villagers and prevent settlements and the overworld from being destroyed by enemies.
Furthermore, you must build your own base, defend it, and explore a world full of different biomes.
What does online multiplayer look like? In PvP, you can challenge your friends and defend your village while you and your allies charge into battle against them.
You can also team up to fight against evil together. The exact number of players that will be possible simultaneously is still unknown.
