What talents are these? Players who have a strong season will receive a better rating in the upcoming football simulation from EA Sports. This also applies to young talents in FIFA 20.
The special thing about young players is that they can make huge leaps in their ratings from one year to the next in the FIFA series. They could move from relatively unknown bronze players to gold players in FUT after a strong season.
The following list of talents includes strong players who are younger than 22 years old. We probably won’t know what ratings they will ultimately receive in FIFA 20 until September. However, we can already approach the new ratings with predictions from the community.

Who predicts the ratings? A summary of talents that deserve a strong upgrade has been compiled by the YouTuber IamTabak in the video above. The possible new ratings we provide come from the futwiz site, where the FIFA community can contribute their assessments of what new values they would assign to the players.
Possible new ratings for top talents in FIFA 20: Along with the expected new rating, we also indicate the old rating in FIFA 19 so that you can see the potential development.
- Nicolo Zaniolo – 77 (64 in FIFA 19): The young Italian from AS Roma is 20 years old. In FIFA 19, he was a bronze player with a rating of 64, and in FIFA 20 he could receive an increase of 12-13 rating points.
- Trent Alexander-Arnold – 84 (78): The English player is 20 years old and plays at FC Liverpool in the right-back position. After a strong season, many players predict top values for him. He only had a rating of 78 in FIFA 19.
- Frenkie de Jong – 85 (82): The Dutch midfielder is with 22 years one of the oldest talents on the list. He has been playing at FC Barcelona since this season.
- Ibrahima Konate – 80 (73): The French center-back from Leipzig can rise from a silver player to a gold player. He is 20 years old.
- Matteo Guendouzi – 78 (67): The French midfielder from Arsenal may be relatively unknown here. However, after a strong season, the 20-year-old could be upgraded from a low silver card to a gold player.
- Jadon Sancho – 84 (78): The English giant talent from BVB is guaranteed to receive a ratings boost in FIFA 20. Some fans would likely like to see a significantly higher rating, but 84 seems realistic. The winger is 19 years old.
- Hannes Wolf – 76 (70): The Austrian midfielder from Leipzig is 20 years old and has deserved a gold card in FIFA 20.
- Jean-Philippe Mateta – 79 (71): The French striker from Mainz is also expected to receive a decent upgrade. He has now turned 22 years old.
- Callum Hudson-Odoi – 78 (68): The English-Ghanaian winger is only 18 years old, yet it is speculated that he will improve by around 10 points in FIFA 20.
- Daniel James – 80 (59): The Welsh player is 21 years old and transferred to Manchester United this summer. Many fans hope for an 80 rating, which would be a huge leap. A value in the 70s is probably more likely for the left forward.
- Kai Havertz – 84 (81): The attacking midfielder from Leverkusen is considered one of the greatest German talents. This is likely to be reflected in FIFA 20 for the 20-year-old.
- Matthijs de Ligt – 86 (83): The 19-year-old Dutchman will play for Juventus Turin in defense starting this summer. With a rating in the mid-80s, he could be one of the best young players in FIFA 20.
- Joao Felix – 82 (69): The 19-year-old Portuguese switched this summer for a huge amount of money to Atletico Madrid. Many expectations are placed on the winger in FIFA 20. He is expected to receive a rating over 80 – which would be a huge jump compared to FIFA 19.
- Declan Rice – 80 (69): The English-Irish center-back plays at West Ham United and could look forward to a significant rating growth. He is 20 years old.
- Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 81 (76): The young Englishman is starting this season at Manchester United. He is 21 years old. Last season he broke through at the right-back position.
- Kylian Mbappe – 90 (88): Whether the French superstar from PSG will break the 90 rating in FIFA 20 remains to be seen. Nevertheless, the community is in favor. He is 20 years old.

- Sandro Tonali – 76 (66): The Italian is 19 years old and plays for Brescia Calcio. His position is central defensive midfield.
- Evan N’Dicka – 78 (64): The 19-year-old Frenchman plays in defense for Eintracht Frankfurt. He can look forward to a significant ratings boost.
- Luka Jovic – 84 (80): The Serbian striker transferred this summer from Frankfurt to Real Madrid. He is 21 years old.
- Nikola Vlasic – 80 (75): The 21-year-old Croatian plays in Moscow and could also see a significant rating increase.
- Ozan Kabak – 77 (60): The 19-year-old Turk is starting this season at Schalke 04. He could receive a huge rating boost and become a strong Bundesliga center-back.
