A 23-year-old man was stabbed in Oberhausen last night. The dispute escalated over seats in an internet café. The victim was playing Fortnite there with other men Fortnite.
As reported by “derwesten.de”, a dispute occurred last night at 21:10 between two groups of young men in Oberhausen. Police say: One of the men stabbed a 23-year-old and injured him critically.
The dispute took place in an internet café and on the street outside. In the internet café, a group of young men was supposed to have met to play Fortnite together. Then another group came to use the computers in the internet café as well.
The two groups clashed. The dispute moved outside to the street, where the verbal confrontation escalated. One of the men stabbed the victim. After that, the men disappeared. It is still unclear how many people were actually involved in the conflict.
The victim was taken to a hospital with injuries to the chest and back and is in critical condition. The Essen police have set up a murder commission.
