Players have already expressed some wishes for the shooter Anthem, which they are also conveying to the developers. For some features, however, BioWare has not made any commitments yet and has evasively responded that they might think about it after the launch.
What is it about? The developers of Anthem have been very active on social media for some time now, keeping fans updated on the game. Players are naturally asking for features they wish to see in Anthem or that they can imagine fitting well in the world of freelancers.
While some details are quickly confirmed or denied, some fan questions are answered more evasively. These wishes, which were neither answered with “yes” nor “no,” have now been compiled on Reddit.
What features could Anthem receive?
BioWare has already confirmed that they are working on content for after the game’s launch, including cosmetic items, new creatures, and additional weather conditions. However, fans can envision even more things for Anthem.

What they wish for the Javelin and its character:
- The ability to step into other players’ suits
- Emblems for Javelin
- New ultimates and abilities
- New Javelin
- “Crazy” sci-fi or alien weapons
- The ability to customize the lights on the suits and the color of the thrusters
- Change the appearance of their character after creation
- Bows, because they have already worked very well in Destiny 2
- The ability to change the build of their Javelin during a mission
Additionally, players wish for features that they have seen in other RPGs or loot games: Statistics, DPS meters, and protection against duplicate random drops.

Moreover, they wish for some practical general features for Anthem:
- Cross-platform and shared progress between platforms
- More difficulty levels
- An indicator for the ultimates of team members
- The ability to re-roll their equipment
- Photo mode
- Waypoints in freeplay
- Inspect other players
- 60 FPS and a slider for field of view on console
A PvP mode is also frequently desired. BioWare wants to wait for player feedback before deciding whether to implement a competitive multiplayer mode. However, the community is divided over PvP, as there are some players who are glad that the mode is not available at launch.
