MMORPGs on consoles are becoming increasingly popular. Some online RPGs can already be played on PS4 and Xbox One. But which MMORPGs are still to come? We present to you 3 MMORPGs that were supposed to be released in 2018 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Today we look at which upcoming MMORPGs you can look forward to if you’re playing on an Xbox One or PS4.
Black Desert – First for Xbox One
The MMORPG attracts all eyes due to its fantastic graphics – so far only on PC. However, a console version is in the works. This much the developers have confirmed. However, they remain a bit tight-lipped regarding information about these versions.
What is already known is that the version for Xbox One will be released before the PS4 version. In this case, the studio Pearl Abyss wants to take advantage of the capabilities of the new Xbox One X and provide players with visuals in 4K resolution.
A first gameplay trailer also shows what that looks like. A release date for this version has not yet been set. It is supposed to happen sometime in 2018. As for the PS4 version, even less is known so far. It is supposed to be coming. But whether with or without 4K and when that will be, is still unknown.
Black Desert Online impresses especially with its combat, housing, crafting, and economy system. However, the quests are merely decorative accessories. Nonetheless, the MMORPG could become interesting for console players.
