J. Todd Coleman, founder of Artcraft Studios, believes that 2017 will be the year of the PvP MMO Crowfall.
In 2016, much has happened with Crowfall. In its fundamentals, the MMO is already recognizable as what it is meant to be. Players live in the Eternal Kingdoms, which they want to expand, but must participate in campaigns in the dying worlds to gather resources.
This already works, albeit only in a simple form. Nevertheless, the team has come a long way over the past year. However, the team has big plans for 2017, which is why this year is to be the year of Crowfall.
Crowfall: The Templar Protects the Righteous
Starting off is the new class of the Templar, which has now been introduced. The Templar is a melee-focused, holy warrior who prefers to fight with a two-handed sword, ensuring justice and protecting the righteous.
He can be played as a tank and is hard to defeat. He uses a combination of healing, hit point buffs, and defensive as well as counter-attack mechanics to create a strong defense line.
A Powerful Ally
The Templar makes the life of his allies more pleasant when they are near him. Moreover, Templars have some synergistic mechanics based on sin, just like Confessors. The righteousness amplifies his abilities and represents a variation of the Duelist’s eye mechanic. Essentially, the Templar is a formidable opponent and a powerful ally.
