The Twitch streamer HandOfBlood recently held a nearly three-day live stream to master the new Elden Ring DLC. He entertained many viewers and experienced some surprising moments.
What kind of stream was that? Recently, the new DLC for Elden Ring was released. The streamer HandOfBlood took this opportunity to host a marathon stream.
His goal was to stream continuously until he completed the DLC. Spoiler: Unfortunately, he didn’t quite manage that. Nevertheless, the stream was highly entertaining for many viewers and brought him up to 20,000 viewers (via Sullygnome).

How did HandOfBlood achieve that? Besides his usual witty style, there were many funny moments and the joy of the viewers watching HandOfBlood struggle with an Elden Ring boss. But the highlights of the stream were probably the surprises.
There were also many unexpected moments for the streamer: From Laughing Yoga, which was supposed to help laugh the final boss down, to a DJ, pretty much everything was included that made the stream a huge event on Twitch.

When HandOfBlood got hungry, he was surprised by a waiter from his favorite restaurant. Alternatively, by his friends, who diligently prepared cabbage rolls and interrupted him in the middle of a boss fight, as shown in a clip on TikTok.
Despite the motivations, he was unable to complete the DLC after nearly 3 days.
Why did he fail? The main reason for this is the final boss of the DLC. In total, the streamer gave his all for over 12 hours to defeat him. However, after nearly three days in the early morning, he decided to end the marathon stream and continue normally with the DLC in the following days.
His community seems to show a lot of understanding for this. Many of his viewers had already advised him during the long hours to perhaps first take a nap and try the boss again with a fresh mind.
