The Luxembourger “LetsHugo” (20) became one of the largest German-speaking streamers on Twitch in 2023. During a stream, he opened Christmas gifts from his fans, but not all viewers had good intentions: there was a nasty surprise hidden in one of the gifts.
What was that situation? On December 26, 2023, during a Christmas stream, LetsHugo opened gifts he had received from his viewers. In one of the gifts was a small wooden box.
When the streamer opened the box, a mechanism was triggered that made a fake spider jump out of the gift. LetsHugo screamed loudly, his eyes rolled back, and he seemed to lose consciousness for a moment.
After a few moments, the 20-year-old regained his senses, summarized the events with a “What the Fuck?” and checked his racing pulse.

What is being discussed? Many viewers are divided over whether LetsHugo’s fainting spell was genuine or just acted. One fan writes in the chat that the streamer deserves an Oscar, while others quickly inquire about his well-being or admit they were quite startled themselves.

However, the Twitch streamer quickly recovered from the scare and continued his stream cheerfully for another 3 hours.
