Disadvantageous effects of Wild Magic (Homebrew)
Wild Magic can provide strong buffs both in and out of combat. However, the community demonstrates with its effects that it is not afraid to see their characters suffer in absurd ways – sometimes even for the entertainment of their companions:
- A loud voice narrates your thoughts and actions for the next minute. It can be heard clearly up to 100 feet away. Get ready to spill your deepest and most depraved secrets.
- You uncontrollably cry for the next minute. Whenever you try to speak, you get severe hiccups, and mucus runs from your nose.
- You perceive that the nearest creature to you is saying something hurtful about you. You are frightened of that creature until the end of your next turn.
- A loud fart sound comes from you. It can be heard from 300 feet away.
- Toxic blisters grow on your body and burst. Creatures within 5 feet take 3d10 acid damage. For the next 1d6 days, you have disadvantage on all Charisma checks.
- You fall asleep for one hour. Only a kiss can wake you from your slumber, Sleeping Beauty.
- Your skin turns bright purple for the next 1d10 rounds. While you may not notice it yourself, your skin tastes absolutely delicious. Should a creature taste it, it becomes instantly addicted and will want to lick you at every opportunity until the high wears off. With a Wisdom saving throw (the difficulty equals your spell save DC), it can free itself from this urge early.
