The founder and CEO of the eSports organization 100 Thieves shows in a video the deplorable condition of the 10 million US dollar team house of his LoL team. There, Fortnite professionals ran riot. The young players were alone for a week – that was enough to “redecorate” the place.
This is the situation: We reported recently that the head of 100 Thieves, Matt “Nadeshot” Haag, expressed himself in a Twitter video and said: He had left the Fortnite team alone and they had cluttered the gaming house.
Now there is a YouTube video. It shows the entire, impressive extent of the chaos. Mobile users: fast forward to 2:40.
2 Fortnite pros clutter 10 million $ house in a week
What kind of house is this? The story goes that the head, Matt “Nadeshot” Haag (27), and other “adults” of 100 Thieves were at TwitchCon. When they came home, their “Content House” in LA was devastated. It is supposedly worth 10 million US dollars.
The “Rocket Mortgage” team house is actually for the LoL team – but there is currently a break in play, while the LoL Worlds are being played. So, two young Fortnite professionals were able to inhabit the house.
They are the teenage pros Hayden “Elevate” Kruger and David “Ceice” McClellan – the two took third place at the World Championship and each earned almost a million US dollars there. They were given permission to use the house for a week.
“We had agreed to hire cleaners”
This is how the team leader reacts: The team leader stands completely astonished in front of mountains of fast food waste. He lists the brand names he sees there: McDonald’s, Dominos, Panda Express, and Subway.
He seems almost a little impressed as he says: “They must have looted every fast food chain in the vicinity.”
Nadeshot shows messages from the two professionals. One writes that they had agreed to hire cleaners. But it seems that it remained just a plan.
This is now the rule: There are two young professionals, says Nadeshot. He is not even angry with them. When he was a CoD pro back then, his room would have looked similar, but on a smaller scale, because it was also a smaller room.
Nadeshot says he is introducing a new rule. Every piece of trash that people leave lying around costs them $250 – per piece. This rule also applied during his CoD days.
