Season 4 in Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare has just started and new weapons are already being leaked, which will probably be introduced in the next season. Among them are fan favorites that have appeared multiple times in the CoD franchise.
Here’s what happened: Dataminers constantly search for new information in the game files of CoD. With Season 4, two unreleased weapons have appeared in the files:
- M200
- M200_c
Call of Duty leakers have linked these to the Intervention, a sniper rifle. The SPAS-12, a shotgun, has also been in the CoD game files since the end of February. Two weapons that have made many appearances in the Call of Duty franchise and are popular among fans.
This is the SPAS-12: The Franchi SPAS-12 is a shotgun that has appeared repeatedly in various CoD titles with two different firing modes – semi-automatic and pump-action.
The SPAS-12 fires 8 pellets per shot and is known for its one-shot kills at distances of up to 5 meters.
The SPAS-12 has appeared in several Call of Duty titles, making it well-known and popular within the community:
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized
- Call of Duty: Black Ops
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3: Defiance
- Call of Duty: Black Ops: Declassified

This is the Intervention: The Chey Tac Intervention is a bolt-action sniper rifle. In Modern Warfare Remastered it has 7 shots, a firing rate of 57 rounds per minute, and causes high damage at a high maximum range. The Intervention generally kills its targets with one shot. If the weapon comes, it will be interesting to see how it compares to the strong sniper rifles “AX-50” and “HDR”.
The Intervention has not made as many appearances in Call of Duty, but it has been present in the following titles of the franchise, where it has been favored by fans for its strength:
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
- Call of Duty Online
- Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered
When will the weapons come? Since some of the files for the SPAS-12 and Intervention were updated with Season 4, some fans and leakers speculate that the weapons will come into play with the next season. Therefore, Season 5 could bring these two fan favorites. However, the information has not yet been confirmed by the developers.
